Description
The elegance and authenticity of a fine Cecchi Chianti from Tuscany
With origins dating back to the Middle Ages, Cecchi is one of the most famous names in the Chianti Classico DOCG appellation in the Tuscany region of Italy. Owned by this family of passionate winemakers, the Villa Cerna estate is renowned for the excellence of its Chianti, offering an authentic interpretation of what Tuscany has to offer.
Produced only in the best vintages, Cecchi's Chianti Classico Riserva Villa Cerna 2012 is the result of an extremely careful selection. As an exceptional wine, it pays tribute to the unique expression of Sangiovese, the famous black grape variety of Tuscany.
The Villa Cerna vineyard is located near Castellina in Chianti in the largest terroir in the historical heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG appellation, between the hills of Siena and Florence.
From an excellent Tuscan vintage, Cecchi's Chianti Classico Riserva Villa Cerna 2012 is a testament to the excellence of Tuscany's wine-growing tradition combined with the right touch of modernity for contempory tastes. To have Riserva on its label, ageing took place over a period of 14 months in barrel followed by 10 months of ageing in bottle before being released on the market.
The Cecchi’s Chianti Classico Riserva Villa Cerna 2012 will seduce the greatest lovers of Chianti with its aromatic elegance highlighting delicate floral notes. The palate is harmonious giving a perfect balance among the acidity, tannins and alcohol. A true authentic Chianti Classico expression.
