Château Branaire-Ducru 2008

Bordeaux - Saint-Julien - Red - 13° Château Branaire-Ducru Château Branaire-Ducru 2008 1032/08
  • Parker : 91
  • J. Robinson : 17
2008 Branaire-Ducru carries a good nose characterised by red and black berries, which concludes on a good freshnes, both precise and complex. On the palate, this Château Branaire-Ducru round with a satisfying density, still with power. The mouth-fell is creamy and fleshy , which is a specific to this vintage. This Saint-Julien can already be tasted even though it has an ageing potential, and will be pleasant until 2020. For those who cannot wait, the richness of this flask will not lack in its youth.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
A stunning success for the vintage, this enticing St.-Julien reveals notes of lead pencil shavings, sweet raspberries and black currants and a subtle touch of oak. Elegant, restrained yet authoritative and impressively intense, it is a medium to full-bodied, lightly tannic effort will be even better with 1-2 years of bottle age and will keep for 15-20 years.
