An exceptional vintage produced in very limited quantities by the Chateau Sainte Roseline, a Classified Growth of 1955, La Chapelle de Sainte Roseline 2017 vintage is the result of a rigorous plot selection that uses very strict production criteria.

Recognised as one of the greatest terroirs in the Provence region, Chateau Sainte Roseline has made producing great wines known for their finesse and complexity into an artform. From the vine to the bottling, each wine from the Chateau is made with extreme care and attention. In a respectful approach towards the environment, grass management is used between the rows of the vines to preserve the diversity of the fauna and the flora. Favouring quality over quantity, yields are limited to preserve the aromatic concentration of the berries while the use of leaf-stripping around the bunches guarantees optimal sunshine for them. The grapes are hand-harvested from late August to late September during the night to preserve the quality of berries and their aromatic intensity.

The flagship product of Chateau Sainte Roseline, La Chapelle de Sainte Roseline 2017 vintage is extremely complex due to a high quality winemaking process. Fermentation of 40% of the juice is done in 18hl wood vats, and the rest in done in stainless steel vats. Fermentation is completed under continuous monitoring, and then the wines are aged on lees with lees stirring.

Produced in AOC Cotes de Provence, La Chapelle de Sainte Roseline 2017 vintage is a blend that captures all the typical Provençal terroirs combining Mourvedre (55%), Cinsault (30%), Grenache (10%) and Rolle (5%).

An exceptional vintage, La Chapelle de Sainte Roseline 2017 comes in a pretigious bottle with the particular shape, "la cuvee des sacres" (the coronation vintage).

At tasting, La Chapelle de Sainte Roseline 2017 vintage has a bright and brilliant colour that is a light salmon pink. There is great aromatic richness on the nose that is marked with warm spicy notes and delicate exotic lychee perfume notes. On the palate, the aromatic complexity seduces and persists in the mouth. There are added citrus notes of grapefruit and a revitalising and beautiful acidity. An exceptional vintage that can be paired with gourmet summer dishes and can be aged for 3 to 5 years.
