Description
A fresh and balanced Tuscan Syrah
The estate
The estate is located on the lands of the Comtes de Bracci in Tuscany. The name La Braccesca is taken from ancestors and from its emblem : an arm with a sword. The Antinori family bought the estate in 1990. The 237 hectares allow the production of wines in the Nobile di Montepulciano and Cortona appellations, made with different grape varieties such as Syrah, Prugnolo Gentile and Sangiovese.

Antinori - La Braccesca : Achelo is a Tuscan wine produced from the Syrah grape. This wine is fruity, balanced and with a lovely acidity ; typical of the Cortona appellation.

This wine has an intense red colour.

The nose gives off red fruit scents.
Palate
This Cortona Syrah is a wine with a full-bodied palate and the tannins are long in feel, supple and elegant. This results in a long and delicious finish, supported by a tonic acidity that adds a pleasant mineral character.
Food and wine pairing
This Cortona red wine goes perfectly with hors d’œuvres like charcuterie or soft cheeses.
