Description
A fruity and gourmet Bordeaux rosé wine
The estate
The name Domaine de La Solitude refers to the rule of the Holy Family community: praying in silence and solitude. The community moved to the estate in the 19th century. The sisters decided to entrust the estate’s winegrowing management to external parties. Since 1993, Olivier Bernard has been in charge of the management of the estate. A very old estate in Martillac, Domaine de la Solitude stands out due to the quality of its Pessac-Léognan wines, which are very good value for money, enjoyable in their youth and guarantee a promising ageing potential.
The vineyard
The Domaine de la Solitude vineyard covers 36 hectares and rests on gravelly soil with a clay and gravel subsoil.
The wine
The Rosé de la Solitude wine has been produced in the Bordeaux appellation since the year 2000. This renowned rosé is made using the "bleeding" method. Presented in an attractive, high-end bottle, this rosé is adorned with an original label that reflects its modernity and nobility.
The 2021 vintage of this rosé wine showcases a new development within the range. The bottles are now equipped with a new VINTOP screw cap which is infinitely recyclable and guarantees to preserve the aromas beautifully.
The blend
Cabernet Sauvignon (80%)
Merlot (20%).
