The estate

Les Tourettes is an estate owned by Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens, the emblematic winemaking couple of the Mâconnais. It is located on the Apt plateau. The couple has completely restructured the vineyard to turn it into an ideal terroir for the production of white wines.

The vineyard

Thanks to the restructuring of the vineyard, and in particular the replanting of massal selections, Les Tourettes is an estate with a beautiful terroir located at an altitude of 400 metres. The soil is rich in limestone. The grapes come mainly from the Plateau de l'Aigle plot.

Vinification and ageing

After hand harvesting, the grapes are pressed with a selection of the juices, keeping only the first free-run juices in order to preserve a very fine acidity. This vin de France is aged in barrels.

This Tinus Chardonnay Plateau de l'Aigle 2023 from Les Tourettes is 100% Chardonnay.
