The Vosne-Romanée appellation covers more than 150 hectares in the Côte de Nuits, and is shared between the Flagey-Échezeaux and Vosne-Romanée communes. Out of all the Vosne-Romanée climats, 14 have Premier Cru classification. The vines are planted on clay marl and calcareous soil. The Vosne-Romanée appellation exclusively produces Pinot Noir single-varietal red wines. At tasting, these wines reveal ripe fruit, red and black fruit and spicy aromas in their youth. As they age, we can notice slight scents of alcoholic red fruit, candied fruit and more animal notes. They are balanced on the palette and require ageing for a few years to be more supple and structured.
