A refined red wine from Côtes de Bourg
The Château Fougas Maldoror is a red wine from the Côtes de Bourg. The blend is 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. In general, it spends 18 months in oak barrels. Organic and biodynamic principles are used to produce this wine. The vineyard plots are on a terroir of clay and gravel deposits, as well as Fronsac molass (sand and clay).
The Château Fougas Maldoror produces racy wines that stand out for their finesse and refined tannins.
