Château La Croix du Casse 2006

Château La Croix du Casse produces Pomerol wines. The terroir consists of gravel-sand soils, and Merlot is the main grape variety.

The wine is garnet in colour. On the nose, the Château La Croix du Casse 2006 has an interesting bouquet of red fruit and truffle notes. On the palate, the wine offers a good balance with tannins of great finesse. It has a fairly sharp acidity and red fruit aromas, but there is also spice with hints of orange peel and dried herbs. The finish reveals a lovely wine. Consume up until 2024.
