The estate

Château Marjosse, a historic vineyard in Entre-deux-Mers in Bordeaux, is located on the right bank of the Dordogne. The estate spans more than 40 hectares and is now owned by Pierre Lurton, also at the helm of Cheval Blanc and d'Yquem, who drives the vision and signs the wines. He crafts white and red wines renowned for their elegance, straightforward style, fruit and a precise freshness. Technical and viticultural improvements are made each year in order to raise quality with every vintage.

The vineyard

This Vin de France comes from a clay-limestone terroir in Entre-deux-Mers. The malbec vines, a grape variety historically known as “Gros Bec” in the region, benefit from ideal conditions to express their full typicity. Vineyard management favors fruit expression and the preservation of the grapes’ natural freshness.

The vintage
