When many Vouvray producers are moving toward fully dry styles, this demi-sec reminds you why Vouvray shouldn’t abandon its off-dry expressions. As usual, the Foreaus nail the balance, hitting that point between residual sugar, acidity, and phenolics. The fruit is pure and finely handled, blossoming on the palate while retaining restraint. It’s not all on show upfront, and it makes you want to go back and see what else is there: honey, nectarine, pineapple, and lees-derived pastry.
