Nose
Powerful and complex, the nose reveals an explosion of luscious exotic fruits. Spicy aromas blend harmoniously with this generous aromatic palette.
Palate
Direct and radiant, the palate envelops the mouth with breadth. The balance is remarkable between the power of spicy notes and the finesse of the whole. The structure combines richness and elegance, carried by fine acidity that brings freshness despite the 21 g/L of residual sugar.

An Alsace gewurztraminer combining aromatic power and finesse
The estate
The Domaine Albert Mann was born from the union of the Mann and Barthelmé families, winegrowers since the 17th century. Established in Wettolsheim in Haut-Rhin, two kilometers from Colmar, the estate covers 25 hectares spread over around one hundred parcels. Since 1997, brothers Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé have run the estate under certified organic and biodynamic farming, joined by the new generation. Named Winemakers of the Year 2012 by La Revue du Vin de France, they reveal exceptional aromatic purity and remarkable minerality, making the estate an essential benchmark for winegrowing Alsace.
The vineyard
This gewurztraminer comes from parcels located in Kientzheim and Wettolsheim in Alsace. The 35-year-old vines take root in clay-limestone and gravel soils. Managed under organic and biodynamic farming certified by Ecocert, the vineyard benefits from an environmentally respectful approach.
Winemaking and aging
The harvest is carried out by hand to select the finest bunches. After pneumatic pressing, the Gewurztraminer 2022 ferments in stainless steel tanks. Winemaking is carried out with native yeasts, with no addition of exogenous yeasts. The wine is aged on fine lees before bottling in spring. No fining is carried out, thus preserving the authenticity and purity of the wine.
Grape variety
100% gewurztraminer.
