Cask sample. A touch of smokiness on the nose. Quite light but also quite enticing. Fresh fruit and lots of lift. Not hugely complex but already quite satisfying. (AWH)

Textural softness and floral notes in the Marsannay rouge, a fairly chiselled wine, firmer than it appears, with a pronounced limestone framework.

An intoxicating, sensual nose, like an invitation to a bacchanal, with pure, delicate black-blue fruits. On the palate, the wine shows ultimate elegance, weaving a fine, distinguished texture, like a silkworm spinning its precious cocoon. Black fruits, rich and comforting, unfold gradually, gently conveying the warmth of the vintage.
