Jean-Marc Brocard : Chablis 1er cru "Montmains" 2022

Plenty of density and richness on the palate, with a ripe stone fruit character and acidity to balance. Nice sunny edge to the fruit. Should age well but you could approach this relatively early.

The 2022 Chablis Montmains 1er Cru is similar to the bottle tasted last year with those traits of asparagus and nettle– quite involving aromatics. The palate is fresh with a crisp and pleasing line of acidity, though perhaps less malic than I remember it 12 months ago. Still worth picking up.
