Description
2014 Pessac-Leognan Rouge, Second vin de La Mission Haut-Brion, from Bordeaux.
Summer 2014 was marked by a remarkable and miraculous Indian summer. The 2014 Pessac-Léognan Rouge Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion, Second vin de La Mission Haut-Brion is a mirror effect of the contrasted year. This 45% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Franc and 24% Cabernet Sauvignon wine reveals a great aromatic generosity on ripped red berry such as cherry with a cocoa hint as an olfactory finish. The attack, carried by a nice tannic structure, gives way to a more blended and fresher mid-palate (characteristic of this vintage). The fruity flavours agreeably linger on finish. The 2014 La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion is a complete Second vin.
