The expression of a red grand vin from Saint-Estèphe
The Second Wine of the prestigious property of Saint-Estèphe – Château Calon Ségur – the Le Marquis de Calon Ségur 2018 blends Merlot (53%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (47%).
Located on the left bank of Bordeaux, in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, the Château Calon Ségur vineyard covers 45 hectares of vines. The vineyard is planted in the great terroir of Saint-Estèphe, marked by quaternary gravel and clay soils.
The Marquis de Calon Ségur 2018 is aged for 17 months in oak barrels (30% new wood).
