2009 Haut-Medoc, Second wine from Chateau Cantermerle, Bordeaux.
The Chateau Cantemerle vineyard stretches over 91 hectares in production with 30 year old vines on average; it is located in the Haut-Medoc appellation. The Second Wine, Les Allees de Cantemerle, is produced from the young vines of the vineyard. This 2009 is 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc.
The fine and scrumptious 2009 Les Allees de Cantemerle coats the palate with very pleasant fruit notes. The wine carries the classic style of its terroir, which brings sweetness and accessibility.
