The estate

For more than 12 generations, Maison Trimbach has been a benchmark name among the greatest wines of Alsace. The balance between fruit, acidity and minerality is the guiding principle in the vinification of all the wines of this family estate, which is renowned for its unique style that delights the finest international gourmets with its quality.

Located in the heart of the magnificent village of Ribeauvillé, in the heart of the Alsace Wine Route, the estate benefits from an exceptional terroir, both in terms of its sandstone, limestone, marl and clay soils and its oceanic influences due to the nearby Vosges mountains. The Trimbach House oversees a 50-hectare vineyard spread across more than 50 plots and 9 villages.

Trimbach's 2016 Riesling "390th Anniversary" is made from a meticulous selection of great terroirs and renowned hamlets, each of which reflects the aromatic nuances of the great terroirs of Alsace. This cuvée is a true tribute to the skill of the passionate winemakers who have been with the estate for decades. The 2016 vintage celebrates the 390th anniversary of the Maison Trimbach.
