An authentic Soave Classico from a volcanic terroir in the Veneto

The Estate

Created in 2024, the Peaks & Valleys project, initiated by Marilisa Allegrini and Andrea Lonardi, pays tribute to Verona and its diverse wine regions: Valpolicella, Soave and Lugana. This initiative aims to showcase not only the wines but also the unique territories that shape them. From the steep hills of Valpolicella to the volcanic soils of Soave and the morainic hills of Lugana, each region contributes to the distinct character of the wines produced. The vineyards are selected based on rigorous criteria such as soil composition, climate, exposure, altitude and indigenous grape varieties. Each wine authentically expresses its origin while adhering to contemporary standards of excellence.

The Vineyard

The Fittà vineyard thrives in the Soave Classico zone at 255 meters altitude, benefiting from an ideal southeast exposure. The vines, with an average age of 15 years, are cultivated using the traditional pergola system on an exceptional volcanic basalt terroir.

Winemaking and Aging

The manual harvest for Fittà 2024 takes place in crates from late September to early October. Winemaking follows tradition with whole cluster pressing followed by static settling. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature between 15 and 18°C for two weeks, with no malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness. Six months of aging in concrete tanks is complemented by two months of bottle aging.

Grape Variety

This wine is crafted exclusively from Garganega, the emblematic grape of the Soave appellation, which here reveals all its finesse and aromatic potential.
