Description
An elegant and aromatic Piedmont wine
The estate
Mauro Molino decided to found his estate in the early 1980s in La Morra, an emblematic village in Piedmont. Devoted to cultivating his vineyard and constantly striving for excellence, Mauro Molino succeeded in bringing great Barolo and Barbera d'Alba Superiore wines to life. These wines have earned him an international reputation. Mauro Molino's Italian wines are true vintages, stemming from meticulously delimited "single vineyards", which reflect all the characteristics of the original terroir in which they flourish.
His estate's 12 hectares, located in the heart of the Italian Langhe region, are planted with Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes. The sublime Le Radici vineyard stretches from the foot of the Burio Castle in the village of Costigliole, one of the areas that is particularly suited to the production of Barbera d'Asti. The soil is influenced by clay and limestone.
The vineyard
Mauro Molino's Langhe Nebbiolo 2020 is a Piedmontese wine made from a vineyard planted on limestone and clay soil.
Vinification and ageing
