An expressive and structured Meursault wine by Domaine Patrick Javillier
The Estate
The Domaine Patrick Javillier was established in 1945 in Meursault in Burgundy, covering 11 hectares in the Côte de Beaune. Founded by Raymond Javillier after the war, it passed in 1974 to his son Patrick, a graduate in oenology. Since 2005, the third generation has managed the estate: Marion Javillier oversees the Red wines while Pierre-Emmanuel Lamy vinifies the White wines. The estate is characterized by its unique Blend philosophy of different climats.
Vineyard
This white Burgundy wine comes from several lieux-dits in the village of Meursault, benefiting from clay-limestone soils typical of the appellation and imparting the wine its characteristic minerality.
Winemaking and Aging
The winemaking of this Meursault Village 2022 adheres to traditional Burgundian methods, allowing the Chardonnay to fully express the character of its terroir while preserving the balance between richness and freshness that has made the estate's wines renowned.
Grape Variety
This wine is made exclusively from Chardonnay (100%), the emblematic grape variety of the great White wines of Burgundy.
