The estate

This estate is unique for the beauty of its land but above all for its privileged location in the Lima region, the cradle of the Loureiro grape variety. Quinta do Ameal is a pioneer in producing wines of the highest quality from the Loureiro grape variety, with great ageing potential.

The vineyard

Loureiro 2019 is a Vinho Verde wine that stems from vines placed in the Minho region, in north-west Portugal. Quinta do Ameal oversees a terroir of 30-odd hectares, of which 14 are vineyards and 8 shelter a forest rich in tree varieties such as chestnuts, walnut trees and Mediterranean parasol pines.
