Description
An exceptional cognac expressing with richness and elegance a great Charentais vineyard
Delamain: an illustrious Charentais distillery
Founded in 1824, the Delamain House is an emblematic figure of the Cognac region in Charente. This estate, with its rich history and deep roots, embodies excellence in crafting exceptional cognacs. Its traditional methods, enriched by centuries of expertise, confer an unparalleled quality and worldwide renown to its products.
Malaville La Rambaudie: a jewel of Delamain’s Pléiade Collection
A rare expression of Delamain’s savoir-faire, Malaville La Rambaudie Pléiade Collection Révélation takes its name from the eponymous 20-hectare single-block vineyard, located in the commune of Malaville within the Cognac appellation. Through this Collection, the House reveals the nuances and expression of spirits originating from a single year, a single vineyard, and a single cask.
Craftsmanship and perfection: the making of Malaville La Rambaudie
Made exclusively from grapes grown in the La Grande Champagne terroir, this cuvée is distilled in a 15 hl alembic. Its singularity lies in a slow run at the end of heating, delivering delectable fruity notes. To preserve the purity of expression of this exceptional vineyard, no sugar or coloring has been added. Aging takes place in a 350-liter Limousin “roux” cask.
