Founded by Thomas Hine, a young Englishman who settled in Jarnac, Hine is a Fine Champagne Cognac House (France) that remains a benchmark of elegance. It sources its eaux-de-vie exclusively from Grande and Petite Champagne. The House is distinguished by its double distillation on the lees, aging in lightly toasted fine-grained casks, and its “Early Landed” method: casks shipped to the United Kingdom to mature and develop great finesse. Holder of the British Royal Warrant since 1962, Hine crafts lively, fruity, and modern cognacs, embodied by its emblematic stag turned toward England. Today, the house belongs to EDV SAS.
