Quite a restrained wine for a site that is famed for the effusiveness of its wines. Full-bodied and ripe, but with a healthy structure and enough acidity to stay bright right the way through. Slightly tannic at the finish, so may benefit from a bit more time in the bottle. Drink or hold.
