The elegance of a great Chilean wine from Central Valley

The estate

Founded in 2006 by Alexander and Carrie VIK, the estate spans a vast property of over 4,300 hectares. Located at the heart of Central Valley in Chile, this prestigious brand stands out for its holistic philosophy, combining cutting-edge viticulture, contemporary architecture and respect for the environment. The estate has quickly established itself as an essential reference in wine tourism and the production of exceptional South American wines.

The vineyard

The vines grow in the Millahue Valley, within Central Valley. This terroir enjoys a temperate Mediterranean climate, softened by a marine influence that regulates maximum temperatures. The great geological diversity of the soils shapes the wine's profile: clay shale (lutite) provides depth and structure, monzogranite brings elegance and precision, while andesite conveys a lovely mineral energy.

The vintage

The climatic cycle this year was particularly balanced. Winter and spring benefited from abundant rainfall, followed by a temperate summer. The dry autumn then offered ideal conditions for precise harvesting. The grapes harvested showed excellent health as well as optimal phenolic maturity.

Winemaking and ageing

Ageing takes place over 23 months. It is carried out exclusively in barrels called "Barroir", which are notably made and toasted using native oak sourced directly from the estate.

Blend

Cabernet Sauvignon (67%) and Cabernet Franc (33%).
