Ruinart Seconde Peau : Key Points

Since 1729, Maison Ruinart has embodied finesse and excellence. Backed by historic savoir-faire, this prestigious Champagne House continues to captivate even the most discerning enthusiasts.

What is Ruinart Seconde Peau?

Ruinart Seconde Peau is an innovative, eco-friendly case created by Maison Ruinart as an alternative to traditional boxes. Made from 100% recyclable paper sourced from sustainably managed European forests, this lightweight sleeve hugs the bottle’s curves, takes inspiration from the chalk of the historic crayères, and reduces packaging carbon footprint by 60%, while preserving the Champagne’s elegance and freshness.

Cuvées with multiple expressions

Seconde Peau R de Ruinart

The emblematic blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir (40–45%) and Meunier (10–15%) offers a beautiful balance of freshness, fruit and roundness. Presented in this ecological case, the cuvée enchants with its golden hue, aromas of fresh fruit, white flowers and viennoiserie, and an elegant palate—ideal as an aperitif or with refined dishes.

Seconde Peau Blanc de Blancs

Blanc de Blancs Seconde Peau showcases the purity of Chardonnay, the House’s signature grape, sourced from 25 to 30 crus in the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. This eco-case elevates the bottle while respecting the environment; the wine delights with freshness, citrus and white-flower notes, and a lively, mineral finish—perfect with seafood or delicate fish.

Seconde Peau Brut Rosé

Ruinart Brut Rosé in Seconde Peau marries the delicacy of Chardonnay with the gourmandise of Pinot Noir vinified as red wine. With a salmon-pink hue and intense aromas of red fruits and citrus, this sustainable case protects a wine with a fresh, elegant, and structured palate—ideal alongside characterful dishes or fruit-based desserts, while underscoring the House’s responsible commitment.
