This has a modestly juicy feel, with plum and blackberry fruit notes forming the core, backed by light anise and charcoal hints on the finish. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2018. 1,250 cases made, 250 cases imported.

Quite a dry, traditional-style, medium-bodied wine with intense redcurrant and red-cherry character. Surprising length and freshness on the finish. Needs some time to show its best. Better in 2018.

The 2014 Clarisse is plump, juicy and very nicely balanced. Succulent red cherry, plum, spice, licorice and tobacco all meld together nicely in this forward, open-knit wine. The blend is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.

Forward, approachable, soft, generous and sweet, with ripeness to the fruit, dark color and an easy to like finish. The wine was made from a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Merlot. 87-89 pts

The 2014 offers immediate pleasure. Its open nose is highlighted by juicy black fruits and precise élevage. The palate is gently extracted, suave, with a lemony finish.

Made with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the wine is smooth, charming, and supple.

Fruity wine, unfolding gently on the palate with medium length. Best enjoyed young.
