Solid 1998. Currant and minerals on the nose. Medium-bodied, with a good core of fruit, firm tannins and a medium finish. Slightly one-dimensional now. Best after 2001. 20,830 cases made.

Amazingly deep, dense garnet color. Intense, artisanal bouquet with an earthy touch. Full-bodied, rustic palate showing character, but rather firm, bourgeois. A table wine.

A bourgeois food wine. 03: Tasted again: a powerful wine with plenty of character and surprisingly good potential as well. Green, light, pointed bouquet with red berry notes. Dry, firm palate with lots of hard tannins. 14/20

Deep red color. Lively and beautiful. Aromas of medium intensity. Reserved. Round and approachable, the palate offers good fruit, a medium body and tannins present on the finish, yet perfectly integrated into the wine’s substance. Pleasant.
