Description
The generosity and precision of a Saint-Émilion wine
The estate
With its cellar featuring modern, contemporary curves by Jean Nouvel, Château La Dominique catches the eye. The emblematic estate, whose winemaking heritage dates back to the late 16th century, is located on an exceptional terroir, on the edge of two prestigious appellations on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux region: Saint-Émilion and Pomerol.
The vineyard
This exceptional location gives rise to a rare richness and complexity in soil typology, combining the clay-limestone soils of Saint-Émilion with the clay-gravel soils of Pomerol, complemented by rare veins of blue clay.
Blend
Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%).
