Description
A rich and intense Saint-Emilion red wine
The Château La Mondotte is a red wine produced in the Saint-Emilion appellation with a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. There is 17 months of ageing with 100% on new barrels.
The colour is quite opaque red. The nose reveals blackberry, crème de cassis, roasted espresso, chocolate and toast. On the palate, Château La Mondotte 2008 offers tannins of extreme sweetness, exceptional opulence and a flamboyant personality. An intense and rich wine to consume until 2025.
