Description

A Harmonious, Elegant and Supple Haut-Medoc Red Wine

Chateau Lanessan is a Cru bourgeois classified wine from the Haut-Medoc appellation. The vineyard covers 32 hectares over deep Garonne gravel that grow 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 4.5% Petit Verdot and 0.5% Cabernet Franc. The average age of the vines is 32-years-old.

The 1996 Chateau Lanessan reveals a beautiful ruby colour. On the nose, there are initial woody fragrances and then followed with floral and musky aromas. The palate is powerfully complex with silky, ripe tannins. The finish is exceptionally long.
