Château Sociando-Mallet 2009

The Sociando-Mallet 2009 is a racy Haut-Médoc. The colour is very dark and deep purple. The nose of this great Haut-Médoc is complex, offering small black fruit mixed with new oak notes linked to the ageing, but perfectly integrated. On the palate, the wine has a superb, creamy texture with balanced and silky tannins, all of an elegant density. The palate then reveals black fruit (blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant) and a touch of minerality. The finish is long and persistent. Sun-drenched ripeness and voluptuous with good ageing potential.
