Not yet bottled, the nose is very expressive, complex and interesting. The palate is initially austere, but it delivers real complexity.

Les Chaumées benefits from the vintage’s freshness on the aromatic front; the oak stands out on the palate, with a caramelised character, and would deserve to be toned down to make the overall impression easier to digest.
