Tasting

This wine displays a deep garnet-red hue with attractive ruby highlights.
Nose
The nose opens with ripe red and black fruit, raspberry and blackcurrant, enriched by floral notes of rose and violet, complemented by a hint of spice and a subtle mineral touch.
Palate
The palate is delicious and velvety, with a balanced structure underpinned by fine, soft, perfectly integrated tannins, leading to a long, fresh finish centred on fruit.
Food and Wine Pairing
This wine pairs ideally with white meats, whether roast poultry or tender cuts of pork, as well as dishes featuring wild mushrooms, such as risotto or chicken with mushrooms. It also goes well with soft, bloomy-rind cheeses such as Brie or Camembert.
Serving and Cellaring

A Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits from Domaine Faiveley, a fresh and floral expression of high-altitude Pinot Noir
The Estate
Founded in 1825 in Nuits-Saint-Georges by Pierre Faiveley, Domaine Faiveley is now run by siblings Erwan and Eve Faiveley, the seventh generation of the family, supported by technical director Jérôme Flous. With vineyards stretching from Chablis to the Côte Chalonnaise, including 12 Grands Crus and 22 Premiers Crus, among them the monopole Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley, the estate has committed to organic viticulture on a large scale, certified in 2025 across 120 hectares in Burgundy.
The Vineyard
This Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits comes from a selection of vineyards located in the heights of the Côte de Nuits, at a higher altitude than the classic slopes. The soils are predominantly limestone and clay-limestone, offering cooler conditions that favour later ripening of Pinot Noir, enhancing aromatic finesse and the freshness of the fruit.
Vinification and Ageing
The Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits "Les Dames Huguettes" 2024 is crafted in keeping with the estate's philosophy, which favours an agronomic approach attentive to living systems, limiting interventions to allow the terroir of the Hautes-Côtes to express itself fully.
Grape Variety
100% Pinot Noir.
