The estate

The Domaine Philippe Alliet, nestled in Chinon, spans 18 hectares of vineyards. Since its establishment in the 1990s, the winemaker has developed a unique aesthetic that has made him a leading figure of the appellation. His wines, endowed with a strong personality, are now recognized as some of the best cabernets francs in the Loire.

The vineyard

The Vieilles Vignes cuvée is a Chinon wine sourced from vines approximately 70 to 90 years old.

Winemaking and ageing

Aged for 18 months in concrete vats.
