This French white wine displays a pale golden yellow colour, subtly illuminated with green highlights.
Nose
The aromatic bouquet reveals a beautiful nobility, blending scents of lily flower, candied lemon and honey, all underscored by a characteristic mineral touch.
Palate
The palate offers a velvety texture and a surprising depth. With a delicate structure, it reveals marine notes before unfolding into a lingering finish, harmoniously fruity and mineral.
Food and wine pairing
This wine pairs wonderfully with noble seafood such as lobster, langoustines or oysters. It also complements delicate fish like sea bass and turbot, cream-based preparations, as well as sushi.

The elegance and mineral richness of a great Chablis wine
The estate
Founded in 1880, Maison Joseph Drouhin is a true institution in Burgundy. At the helm of a vast 100-hectare estate, the fourth generation, now led by Frédéric Drouhin, carries on a family tradition of excellence. A pioneer in environmental practices, the estate stands out for its early commitment to biodynamic farming. Drouhin Vaudon, dedicated to the terroirs of Chablis, perfectly embodies this philosophy by offering cuvées that faithfully express the unique identity of their soils, all while deeply respecting nature and the vine.
The vineyard
Located in the heart of the Vauvillien valley, the Chablis terroir benefits from a remarkable geology. The vines thrive on Kimmeridgian limestone soils, rich in marine fossils, giving the grapes a unique iodized character. The plot dedicated to this cru enjoys an ideal south-southwest exposure. The entire vineyard is farmed according to biodynamic principles, with deliberately limited yields to ensure the truest expression of the fruit.
The vintage
The year 2022 stood out for its warm and particularly dry weather conditions. Despite this climate, the vines managed to retain excellent acidity and balanced yields. This generous vintage thus combines the freshness of previous years with beautiful ripeness, resulting in grapes of remarkable aromatic quality.
Winemaking and aging
After manual harvesting in perforated crates, the grapes undergo slow and gentle pressing. The free-run juice is carefully separated before a light settling process. The Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" 2022 is then aged for 12 to 15 months in 500-litre oak barrels that have already held one or more wines, in order to preserve the full freshness and minerality of the fruit.
