Description
Characteristics and Tasting Tips for the Sancerre 2025 Les Vins d'Emmanuelle
Food and Wine Pairing
This white Sancerre is made for fresh, briny cuisine. It pairs beautifully with seafood, particularly oysters, as well as grilled fish. Fresh goat's cheeses also have their place, as do green vegetable dishes and white meats.
A White Sancerre from the Loire Made from Sauvignon Blanc, Crafted by Les Vins d'Emmanuelle
The estate
Les Vins d'Emmanuelle is a négociant house founded in 2017 in Sancerre, in the Loire, by Emmanuelle Mellot, who is now its owner and director. After seventeen years at the family estate Alphonse Mellot, whose history dates back to 1513, she offers a selection of single-parcel cuvées from the Central Loire (Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Quincy, Reuilly, Menetou-Salon). The house works with partner winegrowers. Emmanuelle Mellot also creates the labels together with typographers and illustrators.
The vineyard
This white Sancerre comes from the Sancerre appellation, located in the Central Loire.
