Nose
The bouquet reveals a beautiful aromatic intensity with delicate aromas of apricot, pear and orange marmalade, elevated by floral notes of acacia and violet.

Palate
The attack on the palate perfectly expresses the typical balance of Viognier grown on volcanic soils, harmoniously combining roundness and freshness in a texture that is both creamy and lively.

A white wine from Vallée du Rhône combining freshness and aromatic complexity

The estate

Founded in 1808 in Tain-l'Hermitage in the Vallée du Rhône, the Maison M. Chapoutier became a family business in 1897. Today run by Michel Chapoutier and his daughter Mathilde, this independent estate has practiced biodynamics since the 1990s. A pioneer with its Braille labels, it owns vineyards in France, Portugal, Australia and Spain, establishing itself as a world reference for Rhône appellations.

The vineyard

The Domaine des Granges de Mirabel thrives on the right bank of the Rhône, within the 'IGP Ardèche, enjoying soils composed of clay and volcanic basalt. This particular geological composition imparts to the Viognier its unique characteristics, marrying minerality and aromatic expression in an exceptional terroir.

Vinification and Aging

The harvest is carried out by night and in the early morning hours to preserve aromatic freshness. After gentle pressing and light racking, fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, as does the aging until spring..

Grape variety

100% Viognier.
