The Estate

Founded in 1996 in Lourmarin, in the Luberon, by Michel Tardieu, Tardieu-Laurent has established itself as a distinctive négociant-éleveur in the Rhône Valley. With no vineyards of its own, it works with nearly a hundred partner growers spread from the northern to the southern Rhône, selected for the advanced age of their vines. Today run by Michel Tardieu and his son Bastien, the house continues a philosophy of élevage inspired by Burgundian methods, combining respect for terroir with a demand for quality.

The Vineyard

This Côte-Rôtie wine is made from Syrah, the emblematic and exclusive grape variety of this prestigious appellation in the Northern Rhône, renowned for its steep slopes and schist soils, particularly in the Côte Brune sector.
