Wine Spectator

Bruce Sanderson

Greengage, apple and sweet spice flavors mingle in this supple white. Backed by bright acidity, it remains balanced and open through the lingering finish. Drink now. 250 cases imported.

Decanter

Didier Séguier notes that Montmains, with its deep clay soils, imparts extra richness. A favourite cuvée for Séguier, this is very mineral in character, tempering the richness and power on the palate. Fèvre owns 3.8ha of Montmains, coming from 10 plots across all three sub-climats.

Tank sample. Less open than the Chablis, less obviously fruity. Stone dust and citrus. Riper as it opens. Creamy texture, sweet-sour freshness not quite meshed. Moderate intensity and good length. (JH)

Wine Enthusiast

A.C.C.

Citrus oil, grapefruit pith, Korean pear, chamomile, and light lemongrass rise delicately from the glass, offering a fresh, vibrant aromatic profile. The palate follows with layered texture and mineral persistence, while lively acidity sharpens the structure and draws out fine salinity through the finish. Absolutely delicious on its own and well-suited to complex seafood preparations. It should cellar well through 2032.
