This wine reveals a beautiful deep red hue.

Nose
Wonderfully complex, the aromatic bouquet opens with intense notes of black fruits such as blackberry and plum. It then evolves towards spicy touches of black pepper and liquorice, enhanced by delicate floral nuances reminiscent of violet.

Palate
The attack is clean and remarkably precise. The mid-palate reveals itself to be generous, dense and fleshy, carried by silky, wonderfully refined tannins. The whole extends harmoniously into a long, persistent finish.

Service and storage

To fully appreciate this wine from the Rhône Valley, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of around 16°C. This red wine has excellent aging potential and can be cellared for many years.

The estate

The Cuilleron family's winemaking history in the Rhône Valley spans several generations. Today, it is Yves Cuilleron who has been at the helm of the estate since 1987. Starting from a modest vineyard, he has succeeded in developing the estate, which now extends across the region's finest appellations. A staunch advocate of demanding viticulture, Yves Cuilleron crafts terroir-driven wines with remarkable precision.

The vineyard

The grapes used for this cuvée come from the Saint-Joseph appellation. The vines are planted on steep hillsides arranged in terraces. This terrain, which is difficult to mechanize, requires meticulous work. The soils, primarily composed of granite rock, give the grapes a unique mineral character.
