A very fresh and precise white with pretty herb notes, lemongrass, lemon zest and jasmine. Flint and hints of white pepper, too. Medium-bodied with a bright, tight palate. 51% sauvignon blanc and 49% semillon. Drink now or hold.

Made from 55% Sauvignon and 45% Sémillon, raised mostly in used larger barrels, the 2021 Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey Blanc has a vibrant, clean, crisp yet textured, medium-bodied style, offering bright lemon and lime fruits, some subtle honeyed floral notes, bright acidity, a focused, lively texture, and a great finish.

Marked by stone-fruit notes, the 2021 avoids extravagance, opting instead for finesse and subtlety. Saline on the attack, the wine displays beautiful aromatic intensity right from the outset. A pleasant bitterness on the finish aligns with its acid structure.
