Château de Myrat

Château de Myrat image

Chateau de Myrat has a rich and historic legacy given through its owners, the Pontac Family, who were the original owners of Chateau Haut Brion and can be attributed to launching the "French Claret" trend in England in the 17th century. Located on the limestone plateau of Barsac, Chateau de Myrat's 22 hectares of vines are planted with 88% Semillon, 8% Sauvignon Blanc and 4% Muscadelle. The Chateau is renowned and appreciated for the freshness and minerality of its wines, which can be described as fine and rich with notes of pepper and spice.
