The estate

Both driven by their vision of the vine as a living entity, Hélène Garcin and Patrick Levêque also share a life project: to care for exceptional terroirs with careful and meticulous work, but above all with passion. When they set foot on Château Poesia’s lands, they put this all into practice.

The vineyard

Château Poesia is a Saint-Émilion wine made from an 8,865-hectare terroir on the heights of Saint-Émilion. There, the clay and limestone plateau on which the vines are rooted benefits from an ideal exposure to the wind, which gives the Merlot a superb aromatic complexity. The climate is oceanic and ensures a good supply of water to the vines.

Winemaking and ageing

After manual harvesting, the grapes were vinified in steel and concrete vats. Aged for 18 to 24 months in French oak barrels.

Blend

Château Poesia 2022 is a blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Franc (30%).
