Chevalier-Montrachet is an appellation spread out over nearly 7.5 hectares. Chevalier-Montrachet wines only come from Puligny-Montrachet commune. Chevalier-Montrachet is one of five Grand Cru appellations in the Côte de Beaune. The vineyards have an elevation between 265 to 290 meters above sea level, and have shallow soils, alternating marls, marly limestone, and stones. These Chardonnay white wines are extremely complex, fine and refined. The offer notes of pastry, honey and spice, as well as a very mineral character, which is typical of the whites from the region.
