Domaine Bardi d'Alquier : Les Bastides D'Alquier 2019

A balanced and elegant red with a meaty edge to the dark cherries, Mediterranean herbs and cloves. Medium- to full-bodied with fine and firm tannins. Structured and textured with a core of dark cherries, licorice and dried herbs. Flavorful finish. Drink or hold.

Medium deep garnet colour. The nose blends sweet plum, red berries, garrigue and pepper with mild oak. Medium weight on the palate, spicy flavours with youthful fruit, a tannic grip but no hard edges and a fairly long finish.
