Joseph Mellot : Domaine des Émois 2022

Bright young straw colour. Pure and discreet nose displaying white-fleshed fruit, crushed apple, fresh herbs, mint and lime zest. Medium weight with good grip and extract, primary fruit flavours with a chalky presence, crisp acidity and a fine length.

This cuvée always does justice to its caillottes terroir: we appreciate its well-supported candied citrus attack, and the palate unfolds to a finish lifted by a hint of salinity.
