The vineyard

The Bowmore distillery looks after a terroir that comprises some of the oldest layers of black stone in the world. This Single Malt Scotch Whisky House highlights the importance of time during the winemaking process, carried out in its legendary Vault No.1 cellar, and the same is true for its terroir. Indeed, time has shaped its landscapes and enriched its black stone layers with natural elements, features that conjure up balance and complexity during the tasting experience. The whisky

This limited edition Bowmore 30 Years is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky that was distilled in 1989 and has aged for 30 years in exceptional sherry and bourbon casks. This 2020 edition comprises only 2,580 bottles and is the result of a rigorous selection from two casks.

The tasting

Colour

The colour is a beautiful gold with subtle brown highlights.

Nose

The nose blends fragrances of heather honey with fruity notes (banana, peach, pineapple), vanilla and butterscotch.

Palate

The mouth seduces with its rich aromatic palette. Tropical fruit and honey aromas harmoniously blend with delicate smoky notes of peat and eucalyptus. The finish is persistent and warm, with a delicious expression of perfectly ripe fruit.
