Description
An iconic Japanese whisky, complex and refined
The estate
The history of the Suntory Whisky Group is linked to the dream of one man, Shinjiro Torii. A pioneer with a passion for wines and spirits, he launched his own wine in 1907 and founded the Yamazaki distillery in 1923, now recognised as the oldest in Japan.
The Suntory group subsequently developed its activities and became internationally renowned. Following the acquisition of Château Lagrange in 1983, Suntory acquired the French group Orangina Schweppes, Ribena and Lucozade, two British drinks brands in 2013, and Beam, a reference among spirits, in 2014.
The wine
Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is an iconic Japanese whisky, one of the finest spirits produced by Suntory Whisky.
